Low-Tension Differential Winding

Low Tension Slip Shaft

Low tension slip shafts use roller positioning balls and bearings to start and regulate winding at very low air pressure.

Slip Shaft

Controlled winding torque for slit roll quality.

Stretch-sensitive film, lithium battery film and other materials that require low starting tension.

  • Center-air-pressure slip shaft structure designed for low starting tension.
  • Suitable for stretch-sensitive film slitting and lithium battery film slitting.
  • Can work from approximately 0.1 kg air pressure when the application requires a very light winding force.
Core Size3-inch standard core, 76.2 +/- 0.2 mm
Ring OD75.5 mm body OD, up to 77.8 mm expansion point
Standard Widths10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 mm
Standard ID50 mm
Typical Starting PressureAround 0.1 kg air pressure for low-tension work

Slip ring options and core-contact details

Slip rings are shown as compact thumbnails because many source images are small. This keeps the visual quality natural while still showing the available ring forms.

  • The ring is built from roller positioning balls and bearings.
  • 3-inch ring outside diameter is 75.5 mm, expanding to 77.8 mm at the highest point.
  • Suitable core inner diameter is 76.2 +/- 0.2 mm for rubber, aluminum or paper cores.
  • Standard widths include 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 mm; other widths can be designed to order.
  • Standard inner diameter is 50 mm.

Selection Notes

Confirm core material, core inner diameter, required width, winding tension range, shaft structure and whether the application needs low starting tension or higher roll-holding force.
