Film and printing lines can generate static during unwinding, corona treatment, printing, laminating, slitting and rewinding. The right static eliminator depends on where the charge appears and how the material moves through the machine.
Locate the static source
Static should be checked near the symptom and near likely generation points. Static detection helps confirm whether the problem is caused by charge or by another process issue such as dust source, web cleaning, humidity or mechanical friction.
Select the eliminator type
Ionizing bars are commonly used along moving webs. Ionizing fans fit local areas, sheet handling or workstations. Static rope and brush products may support simpler passive reduction points. Static generators are different and are used only when controlled attraction is required.
Check installation distance and line speed
High-speed webs usually need a suitable ionizing bar installed close enough to the material. The available space, mounting direction, electrical supply and operator access should be reviewed before selection.
Use detection to verify the result
For serious dust attraction, shocks or print defects, measuring static before and after installation is useful. It helps confirm whether the selected eliminator is reducing charge at the actual problem point.

FAQ
Does KENDORIC supply static control chemicals?
No. KENDORIC supplies static control equipment, not chemical additives.
Do I need a static meter?
A static detection instrument is useful when the source of charge is unclear or when verification is required.
Is an ionizing fan suitable for moving film webs?
Often an ionizing bar is better for moving web paths. Fans are more suitable for local areas, sheets or workstations.
